2 cups Organic Brussel Sprouts quartered
4 Tbsp Ghee
6-8 slices of hormone/antibiotic free, grass fed bacon
1/2 onion chopped (optional)
2 to 3 garlic cloves chopped or minced (optional)
2 Tbsp Tumeric/Cumin
Sea salt and pepper
I was diagnosed with SIBO and according the FOODMAPS guideline onion and garlic is something on the high end. So my advice is to just not eat it every day 😂
Put tbsp ghee in the pan. Cook the bacon until close to crisp and remove onto a paper towel on a plate.
Add in onion and garlic and sauteed for 2 minutes.
Add Brussels sprouts and ghee to pan until fats are infused and Brussels sprouts are soft.
Chop or crumble bacon. Stir this in at the end.
Add spices, salt and pepper. Toss ingredients in the pan.
Serve and enjoy!
You can also mix ingredients in pan and place in the oven.
